Yes! Anyone who has an interest in hacking can attend! We will be providing workshops catered to different experience levels. Beginner workshops will give you a jumpstart into programming, while workshops for experienced developers will help you polish and ship your project.
We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday plus breakfast and lunch on Sunday. There will also be snacks, coffee, and Soylent.
Hacking all night can be fun, but we highly recommend getting at least a bit of sleep while you're here. We have lots of comfy spaces and cozy corners to get some shut eye. Bring a small blanket and a pillow if you'd like, we'll provide ear plugs and eye masks.
(1) Your laptop (2) Chargers for all of your devices (3) A water bottle (4) A government issued ID - if you'd like to hack on hardware (see below for more info)
Our brand new HQ is at 1547 Mission St. We recommend taking public transit or being dropped off, as parking can be hard to find nearby. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse travel costs for this event.
Teams are at most 4 people and can be formed before or at the event.
Don't worry! We'll have a team formation workshop at the beginning of the event.
We will have a few Raspberry Pi, Oculus Rift, Google Cardboard, Pebble Watch, Myo Armband, and Atmel bundle for you to hack with. You must have a government issued ID to check these items out.
You need to be 13 years or older to attend. If you are under 18 you will be required to stay in the building for the duration of the event, for liability reasons.
Please don't hesitate to ask us anything. Email email@example.com and we'll get back to you ASAP!
